Michael has more than 23 years’ experience managing projects from initiation and design through to construction and close out.

He has delivered major works for Transport for NSW, the Department of Defence, and local government, including a two year secondment with TfNSW delivering the $450M Intercity Fleet Maintenance Facility at Gosford. His portfolio also includes natural disaster recovery programs, road rehabilitation, mining infrastructure upgrades, and high profile rail projects.

Michael’s background spans client, contractor, and civil subcontractor roles, giving him a well-rounded understanding of delivery from multiple perspectives. He is proficient in administering NSW Government GC21, AS4000, AS4902 and AS4122 contracts.

Known for his practical approach, strong communication and ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups, Michael consistently delivers projects to a high standard, on time and within budget.

What’s your Favorite board game?

Chess. My nick name with school mates is 6,000. This is because we had a chess competition, I was losing so I bought a chess tutorial software package to improve, called Chessmaster 6,000. I can be a little competitive...

What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?

One of the things that pleases me the most is to ride my motorbike. I have always liked them as a kid, and to ride early hours of the morning or on roads/tracks where no one is around is the best

What’s a project or creative outlet you’re working on in your free time?

Caravaning with my kids. We like to plan a trip, set a goal with the kids and make it happen
